Abstract

CV. Bita Jaya Mandiri merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang penyewaan (rental) mobil. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh CV. Bita Jaya Mandiri adalah sering terjadinya antrian yang panjang dalam proses penyewaan mobil pada perusahaan dan staf sering kewalahan dalam melayani customer yang banyak sehingga pelayanan customer kurang optimal dengan waktu tertunda. Dalam periode tertentu dan customer harus mengunjungi perusahaan secara langsung untuk mengetahui jenis kendaraan yang tersedia pada perusahaan ketika hendak melakukan penyewaan mobil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa dan merancang suatu sistem informasi penyewaan kendaraan berbasis website. Dengan adanya website, penyewa mobil akan lebih menghemat waktu tanpa harus mendatangi perusahaan perentalan mobil tersebut ketika ingin melakukan penyewaan mobil. Kelebihan dari memiliki website juga membuat perusahaan tampil lebih professional di mata pelanggan serta dapat menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas juga./CV. Bita Jaya Mandiri is one of the companies engaged in car rental. Problems faced by CV. Bita Jaya Mandiri is often a long queue in the car rental process at the company and staff are often overwhelmed in serving many customers so that customer service is less than optimal with a delayed time. In a certain period and the customer must visit the company directly to find out the types of vehicles available at the company when they want to rent a car. This study aims to analyze and design a website-based vehicle rental information system. With the website, car tenants will save time without having to go to the car dealer company when they want to rent a car. The advantage of having a website also makes the company appear more professional in the eyes of customers and able to reach a wider market as well.
