Online media can also be the bridge to build interpersonal relationship between individuals. The research objective is to examine how the process of selfdisclosure occurs in the phase of romantic relationships that occur in online dating participants through Tinder application. This study is based on the theory of Social Penetration and Computer Mediated Communication (CMC), which is associated with Stages of Online Relationship model. From that stage we will receive how individuals deals with the approach of the stranger from the online media until both party ended up in face-to-face meeting. This thesis was a qualitative research using a qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach. The results of this study shows that in building a relationship, individuals takes self-disclosure gradually and requires a long period of time, longer than two weeks up to one month. One individual shared lots of information about himself/herself during the act of self-disclose, however the depth and the breadth of the information are based on how close is the relationship between two individuals. Self-disclosure will not stop even if an individual already occupies the top stages of Stage of Online relationship.
