Abstract

This research was conducted at PT Queen Avoir Industry, Medan. The objective of this research is to test and analyze the effect of work environment on the employees’ work productivity at PT Queen Avoir Industry, Medan. The theory used in this study is related to the theory of work environment and employees work productivity. Work environment is a crucial part in achieving high work productivity in manufacturing. In this study, the method used by the author is a quantitative analysis method. The type of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires distributed to employees. The population is 137 employees and sample in this study is amounted to 102 employees using Solving Formula method. The scale used to measure variables is the Likert scale. The results of the hypothesis can be explained that work environment effect employees work productivity at PT Queen Avoir Industry, Medan. The result of the coefficient of determination can be seen from the R square value of 0.549. This shows that the magnitude of the influence of the work environment on employees work productivity is 54.9% and the remaining 45.1% is influenced by other variables outside of this study in the form of compensation, job promotions, work motivation and so on. The recommendation of this study is to create a comfortable and safe working environment by following the standards in order to achieve the goal of the company. The conclusion in this study is that there is an effect of work environment on employees work productivity at PT Queen Avoir Industry, Medan. / Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT Queen Avoir Industry, Medan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan di PT Queen Avoir Industry, Medan. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan teori lingkungan kerja dan produktivitas kerja karyawan. Lingkungan kerja adalah bagian penting dalam mencapai produktivitas kerja yang tinggi di bidang manufaktur. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah metode analisis kuantitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada karyawan. Populasi adalah 137 karyawan dan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 102 karyawan dengan menggunakan metode Slovin Formula. Skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel adalah skala Likert. Hasil uji hipotesis dapat dijelaskan lingkungan kerja mempengaruhi produktivitas kerja karyawan di PT Queen Avoir Industry, Medan. Hasil koefisien determinasi dapat dilihat dari nilai R square sebesar 0,549. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa besarnya pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan adalah 54,9% dan sisanya 45,1% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini dalam bentuk kompensasi, promosi pekerjaan, motivasi kerja dan sebagainya. Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang nyaman dan amann dengan mengikuti standar untuk mencapai tujuan dari perusahaan. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa terdapatnya pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan di PT Queen Avoir Industry, Medan.
