Abstract

One aspect that investors focus on before investing in a company is stock return. Investors will consider to invest in companies with good financial performance as they lead to higher stock return. In this context, financial ratios such as debt equity ratio, net profit margin and working capital turnover are the indicators of financial performance that are analyzed in this research. The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of debt equity ratio, net profit margin and working capital turnover to stock return. The approach that is used in this study is quantitative approach. Through purposive sampling method, five companies are selected as samples for years 2012-2018. Data that have been collected are processed by SPSS 25.0 program. According to the research results, debt equity ratio, net profit margin and working capital turnover do not have significant influence to stock return both partially and simultaneously. / Satu aspek yang menjadi perhatian investor sebelum berinvestasi di sebuah perusahaan adalah pengembalian saham. Investor akan mempertimbangkan untuk berinvestasi di perusahaan dengan kinerja keuangan yang baik karena hal tersebut mengarah kepada pengembalian saham yang lebih tinggi. Dalam konteks ini, rasio keuangan seperti rasio hutang terhadap ekuitas, margin laba bersih dan perputaran modal kerja merupakan indikator kinerja keuangan yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh rasio hutang terhadap ekuitas, margin laba bersih dan perputaran modal kerja terhadap pengembalian saham. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Melalui metode purposive sampling, lima perusahaan dipilih sebagai sampel untuk tahun 2012-2018. Data yang telah dikumpulkan akan diproses oleh program SPSS 25.0. Menurut hasil penelitian, rasio hutang terhadap ekuitas, margin laba bersih dan perputaran modal kerja tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap pengembalian saham baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan.
