Abstract

Penggunaan metode dan media pembelajaran yang menarik merupakan salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan guru untuk menarik perhatian anak membantu proses belajar di kelas, khususnya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara santun. Salah satu media yang dapat digunakan adalah mainan supermarket. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan metode bermain peran dengan menggunakan alat permainan supermarket untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara santun dan keterampilan sosial siswa di TK XYZ Jakarta Pusat pada tahun akademik 2019-2020. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas TK B3 di TKK XYZ yang terletak di Jakarta Pusat. Jumlah subyek dalam penelitian sebanyak 15 siswa, dengan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian tindakan dilakukan dengan 2 siklus, yang terdiri dari 5 kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata kemampuan berbicara santun jika dibandingkan dengan sebelum dan setelah diberikan metode bermain peran dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran alat permainan supermarket. Rata-rata kemampuan berbicara santun pada unsur kebijaksanaan sebelumnya 7% meningkat menjadi 20%, unsur kedermawanan sebelumnya 6% menjadi 19%, unsur penghargaan sebelumnya 7% menjadi 19%, unsur kesederhanaan sebelumnya 5% menjadi 21%, unsur permufakatan sebelumnya 4% menjadi 19%, unsur kesimpatian sebelumnya 7% menjadi 20%. Rata-rata peningkatan keterampilan sosial untuk kerjasama semula 3% menjadi 13%, untuk bermain dengan teman 5% menjadi 15%, untuk berbagi semula 4% menjadi 18%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode bermain peran dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran permainan supermarket cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara santun dan kemampuan sosial di kelas TK B3 TKK XYZ. / The use of methods and learning media that are interesting is one way that teachers can attract the attention of children to help the learning process in class especially to improve the ability to speak politely. One of the media that can be used is supermarket game media. One of the media that can be used is supermarket game media. This study aims to determine the application of the role playing method and the use of learning media for supermarket games to improve polite speaking skills at kindergarten XYZ Central Jakarta in the academic year 2019-2020. The study was conducted in TK B3 class at TKK XYZ located in Central Jakarta. The number of subjects in the study were 15 children, with classroom action research methods. The action research was conducted in 2 cycles, consisting of 5 meetings. The results showed an average increase in polite speaking skills when compared with before and after being given a role playing method using learning media for supermarket games The average ability to speak politely in the previous wisdom 7% increased to 20%, the previous generosity 6% to 19%, the previous appreciation 7% to 19%, the previous simplicity 5% to 21%, the previous consensus 4% to 19%, previous conclusions were 7% to 20%.. The average increase in social skills for collaboration was from 3% to 13%, play with friends 5% to 15%, share 4% to 18%. This shows that the role playing method using supermarket game learning media is quite effective in improving polite speaking skills and social skills in TK B3 TKK XYZ class.
