Abstract

Perusahaan membutuhkan karyawan agar mencapai kesuksesan, oleh karena itu perusahaan harus memperhatikan kepentingan dan kebutuhan karyawannya. Apabila kepentingan dan kebutuhan karyawan terpenuhi dengan baik, maka dapat memberi motivasi pada kinerja karyawan. UD. Mega Sukses menjalankan komunikasi internal dalam upaya memotivasi kinerja seluruh karyawan. Dengan tingkat motivasi kerja yang tinggi, karyawan akan bekerja lebih giat. Hal ini tentu saja dapat berpengaruh pada keberhasilan perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan mengacu pada beberapa teori dan konsep yaitu, teori Hierarki Kebutuhan, teori ERG, konsep Public Relations sebagai teknik komunikasi, dan konsep penilaian kerja. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Setelah itu baru dilakukan analisis dari data-data yang telah dikumpulkan. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi aktivitas komunikasi internal yang dijalankan oleh Departemen HRD UD. Mega Sukses memenuhi setiap kebutuhan di dalam teori Hierarki Kebutuhan dan teori ERG. Segala strategi aktivitas komunikasi internal tersebut adalah untuk memotivasi agar setiap karyawan dapat memenuhi konsep penilaian kinerja yang baik. Diharapkan agar UD. Mega Sukses dapat terus mengembangkan dan meningkatkan komunikasi internal yang dijalankannya agar karyawan dapat terus termotivasi. / Employees are indeed valuable assets for a company to achieve success, therefore the company should be concerned with the interests and needs of the employees. If the interests and needs of employees are fullfilled properly, it can motivate employee’s performance. UD. Mega Sukses implements internal communication in order to motivate the employee. By the motivation given, every employee will be more productive. This, indeed can affect the success of the company. This study uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. This study refer to some of the theories and concepts such as hierarchy of needs theory, the ERG theory, the concept of public relations as communication techniques, and concepts of appraisal work. Data was collected through observation and depth interviews. More over, doing analysis of the data that has been collected. From the research it can be concluded that the strategy of internal communications activities undertaken by the Departemen of HRD UD. Mega Sukses fulfilled every needs in the Hierarchy of Needs theory and the theory of ERG. The strategics are implemented to motivate employee’s performance to fulfill the concept of a good performance. The writer expected that UD. Mega Sukses will always improve the internal communication in their company so, all the employees are motivated.
