Abstract

Pot tanaman pintar berbasis IoT merupakan teknologi pertanian yang dirancang berdasarkan smart farming, yaitu menggunakan teknologi modern untuk meningkatkan kualitas serta kuantitas dari produk pertanian. Dengan memanfaatkan konsep smart farming, pengguna dapat memantau dan mendapatkan data dari kondisi serta lingkungan tanaman. Data yang didapat berupa kelembapan udara, suhu udara, kelembapan tanah, dan intensitas cahaya. Pengambilan data dengan pot tanaman cerdas dilakukan di ruang terbuka pada 20 Januari 2020 di Tangerang menunjukkan suhu udara berkisar pada 32 - 40 °C, kelembapan udara relatif 70 - 90%, serta pencahayaan matahari yang kurang konsisten. Oleh karena kondisi lingkungan pada ruang terbuka seringkali kurang ideal untuk pertumbuhan tanaman, penanaman dapat dilakukan pada ruang tertutup agar kondisi lingkungan lebih mudah untuk dikontrol. Pengambilan data pada ruang tertutup dilakukan pada 21 Juli 2020, dengan pembacaan suhu kurang lebih 26 °C serta kelembapan udara relatif berkisar pada 55 – 60%. Dari data yang diperoleh dapat dilihat perbedaan konsistensi yang cukup signifikan antara kondisi lingkungan pada ruang tertutup dan ruang terbuka. Percobaan yang dilakukan menggunakan tanaman cabai (Capsicum frutescens) pada ruang terbuka dan ruang tertutup belum menunjukkan adanya perbedaan selama seminggu./IoT-based smart pot is an agricultural technologies designed based on smart farming, which uses modern technology to improve the quality and quantity of agricultural products. By utilizing the concept of smart farming, users can monitor and obtain data on plant conditions and environment. The data that could be obtained from smart pot are air humidity, air temperature, soil moisture, and light intensity. Data obtained with smart pot conducted on outdoor environment on July 21, 2020 in Tangerang showed air temperatures ranging from 32-40 ° C, relative humidity of 70-90%, and inconsistent solar lighting. Because environmental conditions of outdoor environment are often less than ideal for plant growth, planting can be done in indoor environment so environmental conditions are easier to control. Data obtained from indoor environment conducted on July 21, 2020, with temperature reading approximately 26 ° C and relative humidity at 55 - 60%. Both experiment shows there is a significant difference in consistency between environmental conditions in indoor and outdoor environment. Experiments conducted using chili plants (Capsicum frutescens) in indoor and outdoor have not shown any difference in the first week.
