Abstract

The more development that occurs, the less empty land that is used as an absorption area for rainwater. Therefore, it is necessary to make a drainage system to distribute falling rainwater. However, the construction of the drainage system must also be carried out properly, otherwise inundation or flooding will also occur. Therefore, an evaluation of the drainage system must be carried out in order to determine the ability of the existing drainage system to accommodate the amount of rainfall that occurs in a certain area. To determine the ability of a drainage channel to accommodate the amount of rainfall that occurs, a comparison is generally made between the channel discharge capacity and the planned rainfall discharge. In the calculation of rainfall discharge, hydrological analysis is carried out using the frequency analysis method with Log Pearson III then the discharge uses the rational method. For the calculation of channel capacity, calculations are made using hydraulics. After the two debit values are obtained, they will be compared. The results of my research indicate that there are several channels that cannot properly drain the planned rain discharge. This can be overcome by enlarging the dimensions of the drainage channels so that the channel capacity increases. The channel is channel no 3 with a capacity of 0.6926 m3/s, channel no 11 with a capacity of 0.3216 m3/s, channel no 12 with a capacity of 0.6926 m3/s, channel no 13 with a capacity of 0.6926 m3/s, channel no 16 with a capacity of 0.7998 m3/s, channel no 22 with a capacity of 0.6926 m3/s, channel no 27 with a capacity of 0.6926 m3/s, channel no 30 with a capacity of 1,7884 m3/s, channel no 31 with a capacity of 1,2558 m3/s, channel no 32 with a capacity of 1,4501 m3/s, channel no 34 with a capacity of 1.5280 m3/s, channel no 35 with a capacity of 1.2558 m3/s, channel no 39 with a capacity of 0.7998 m3/s, channel no 56 with a capacity of 1.1169 m3/s, channel no 57 with a capacity of 1.2558 m3/s, and channel no 59 with a capacity of 0.7095 m3/s.
