Abstract

Tingginya peluang berkarir di bidang akuntansi dan perpajakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh motivasi karir di bidang perpajakan dan biaya pendidikan terhadap minat siswa SMA dan SMK dalam memilih Program Studi Akuntansi Perpajakan dengan dukungan orang tua sebagai variabel intervening. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA dan SMK tahun ajaran 2019/2020 di Kota Surabaya dan Sidoarjo. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 414 siswa dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini merupakan data primer yang berasal dari kuesioner online. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Validitas, uji Reliabilitas, uji Normalitas, uji Multikolinearitas, uji Heterokedastisitas, Analisis Regresi Linear, uji Koefisien Determinasi (Adjusted R2), uji F dan uji t. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah motivasi karir di bidang perpajakan dan dukungan orang tua berpengaruh terhadap minat siswa SMA dan SMK dalam memilih Program Studi Akuntansi Perpajakan. Motivasi karir di bidang perpajakan dan biaya pendidian berpengaruh terhadap dukungan orang tua. Dukungan orang tua gagal menjadi variabel intervening antara motivasi karir di bidang perpajakan dan biaya pendidikan terhadap minat siswa SMA dan SMK dalam memilih Program Studi Akuntansi Perpajakan. / High career opportunities in accounting and taxation. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of career motivation in the field of taxation and education costs on the interest of high school and vocational high school students in choosing the Tax Accounting Study Program with the support of parents as an intervening variable. The population in this study were all high school and vocational high school students for 2019/2020 school year in Surabaya and Sidoarjo with a sample of 414 students. The data analysis method used is the validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, linear regression analysis, determination coefficient test (Adjusted R2), F test and t test. The results of this study are career motivation in the field of taxation and parental support affect the interest of high school and vocational high school students in choosing the Tax Accounting Study Program. Career motivation in the field of taxation and education costs affect parental support. Parental support failed to become an intervening variable between career motivation in the field of taxation and the cost of education on high school and vocational high school students interest in choosing the Tax Accounting Study Program.
