Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pada masa tiga tahun pertama, anak mengalami pertumbuhan yang pesat dalam segi fisik dan psikis. Pada masa pertumbuhan ini sangat penting bagi orang tua anak untuk memperhatikan asupan gizi anak agar dapat memenuhi gizi hariannya. Jika status gizi anak kurang maka dapat menghambat pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak sehingga tidak mencapai titik maksimal yang seharusnya dicapai anak pada usia-usia tertentu dan disebut sebagai keterlambatan perkembangan. Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui hubungan antara status gizi dengan perkembangan pada batita. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah menggunakan studi analitik komparatif kategorik tidak berpasangan yang dilakukan dengan desain penelitian potong lintang. Total sampel penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 56 orang dan merupakan pasien anak berusia dibawah tiga tahun yang berobat di Rumah Sakit Umum Siloam Tangerang. Subjek dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengambilan data berlangsung dari bulan Januari sampai Maret 2020. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian akan diolah dengan menggunakan uji statistic Chi Square dan Microsoft Excel. Hasil: Berdasarkan 56 batita ditemukan 93% bergizi baik dan 7% gizi lebih. Mayoritas perkembangan batita di Rumah Sakit Umum Siloam Tangerang 88% sesuai dengan usianya dan 13% mengalami perkembangan yang meragukan. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan bermakna antara status gizi dengan perkembangan dengan nilai p= 0,018, CI 95%= 1 – 82, OR= 9,4. / Background: During the first three years, children experience rapid growth in physical and psychological terms. During this growth period it is very important for the child's parents to pay attention to the child's nutritional intake in order to meet his daily nutrition. If the nutritional status of children is lacking, it can inhibit the child's growth and development so that it does not reach the maximum point that the child should have reached at certain ages and is called a developmental delay. Objective: To examine the correlation between nutritional status with development in toddlers. Methods: This research is an unpaired categorical comparative analytic study conducted with a cross sectional study design. The sample of this research amounted 56 people and were pediatric and a toddler patients who came to Rumah Sakit Umum Siloam, Tangerang. The subjects will selected using purposive sampling technique. Data will be collected from January until March 2020. The data will be processed using Chi Square statistical test and with Microsoft Excel. Results: Based on 56 toddlers, 93% were found to be well-nourished and 7% over-nourished. The majority of toddler development in Siloam Tangerang Tangerang Hospital is 88% according to its age and 13% promotes dubious development. Conclusion: There is a relationship between nutritional status and development with p-value = 0.018, CI 95%= 1 – 82, OR= 9,4.
