Abstract

Media massa khususnya surat kabar sangat dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat salah satunya adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi. Pada saat proses pembuatan berita, sangat dipengaruhi oleh ideologi suatu perusahaan. oleh sebab itu surat kabar tidak bersifat objektif saja melainkan objektif dan subjekif. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualititafin yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanai Tabloid Cek & Reek memaknai kasus yang menimpa artis Arumi Bachsin terkait kasus pelariannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisi framing model Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki yang menggunakan empat perangkat yaitu sintaksis, skrip, tematik, dan retoris. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Cek & Ricek dalam pemberitaannya cenderung tidak memihak kedua pihak yaitu Orangtua Arumi Bachsin, Maria Lilian Pesch dengan Rudi Bachsin dan Arumi Bachsin. Hal ini tercermin dari pemberitaan media tersebut yang berusaha mempengaruhi publik dengan opini mereka. / Mass media especially newspapers, are needed by the public get information. In the process, the comapany's ideology could influence the news. Therefore, a newspaper ideally is not on;y objective but also objective and subjective. This research use qualitative approach to identity how Cek & Ricek tabloid. Untepreted runway celebrity case of Arumi Bachsin. The method is framing analysis model by Zhongdan Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki whom used four tools syntacs, script, thematic and rethorical. The research result showed that the tendency for Cek & Ricek not took side on both sides parents are Arumi Bachsin, Lilian Pesch with Rudi Bachsin and Arumi Bachsin. This is reflected in the media who tried to influence the public with their opinions.
