Abstract

Internal auditor adalah kegiatan pemberian kepastian atas objek yang diselidiki dan konsultasi yang dilakukan secara independen dengan tujuan menambahkan nilai pada laporan keuangan dan meningkatkan operasi perusahaan. Internal auditor memiliki peran untuk menindungi manajemen dan anggota komite audit dari potensi jebakan atau kecurangan. Dalam menjalankan peran ini, para auditor ini harus menampilkan karakteristik tertentu seperti pengetahuan menyeluruh tentang standar profesional, pemikiran analitis, keterampilan komunikasi, dan integritas. Penelitian ini menjelaskan secara rinci serangkaian ketrampilan utama yang harus dimiliki internal auditor ketika melamar pekerjaan di bidang ini. Berdasarkan lamaran pekerjaan yang dipublikasikan di website Indonesia dan pendapat dari Perusahaan P.T IK yang menjadi dasar penentu kualitas, lalu melakukan analisis data untuk mengekstrak serangkaian karakteristik yang relevan dan untuk menentukan indeks skor untuk profil internal auditor. Indeks skor yang dihasilkan dapat digunakan oleh perushaaan PT. IK sebagai instrumen yang berguna untuk menilai calon pelamar menurut standar kualitas perusahaan. Selain itu, penelitan ini dapat digunakan untuk penilaian diri oleh kandidat untuk posisi sebagai departemen internal auditor / Internal auditors are activities that provide certainty over the objects investigated and consultations carried out independently with the aim of adding value to financial reports and improving company operations. Internal auditors have a role to protect management and audit committee members from potential traps or fraud. In performing this role, these auditors must present a complete picture of professional standards, analytical thinking, communication skills, and integrity. This study describes in detail the main skills that internal auditors must possess when applying for jobs in this field. Based on the job application published on the Indonesian website and the opinion of the P.T IK Company which is the basis for determining quality, then performs data analysis to extract relevant facts and to determine the score index for the internal auditor profile. The resulting score index can be used by the PT. IK as a useful instrument for assessing potential applicants according to company quality standards. In addition, this research can be used to measure themselves by candidates for being an internal auditor department.
