Abstract

To ensure business continuity, company needs to keep the stability of the employees’ performance. The problem Faced by PT. Richiwa Sakti Indonesia is that the employees’ performance is not good enough. After the employee evaluation in June 2018, we could see that the employee performs their job just good but it is not good enough. One of the most important cores of for the company is to stabilize or improve the quality that is from the employee itself.. The success of the company depends on the level of employee commitment towards the organization to achieve the specific goal, because commitment of employees is an important key to improve the performance of the organization. In conducting the research, the writer will use descriptive studies in order to ascertain and to be able to describe the characteristic of the variables of interest in a situation. The writer will use sensus sampling so that all the population can become the sample. The research object is at PT. Richiwa Sakti Indonesia which is located at Medan. PT. Richiwa Sakti Indonesia is a private company which distributes furnitures in Indonesia .The furnitures which the company distributes are certified by Indonesian Legal Wood. Questionnaires were given to the employee of PT. Richiwa Sakti Indonesia of the total of 34 employees, but before the questionaires were given to other similar companies, to know the validity and the reliability of each question. By the testing of validity and reliability that have passed for the pre-test, the writer continued the test to normality and linearity to know the quality of the data testing. On the correlation test, it shows that the variable has a strong positive impact towards other, which in the determination stated clearly it has 56.2% impact. At the end of the research, the results shows that, the employee commitment has a high impact towards employee performance at PT. Richiwa Sakti Indonesia. This research gives some theoritical and practical implication as well.
