Abstract
The occurrence of unfair division of wages and the work given is not in accordance with the work table resulting in the decrease on employee performance. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of job satisfaction on employee performance at PT. Pioneer Glassindo Utama Medan. Job satisfaction is a matter related to the situation of an employee to the work done that led to the results of his work. Meanwhile employees’ performance is individual because each employee has different level of skills in performing their duties. Data research method used in this research is quantitative associative. The research method was conducted by preliminary interviews, questionnaires. Data analysis method used is simple linear regression. The population of PT. Pioneer Glassindo Utama Medan is 120 people, by using Yamane formula become 93 respondents. Data analysis technique used are validity test, reliability test, descriptive statistic, normality test, linearity test, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple linear regression, and hypothesis test. The result of correlation of determination is 43.4% means that the job satisfaction variable has influenced 43.4% to the employees’ performance while the rest of 56.6% is influenced by other factors not meticulously in this study. The result of the research shows that job satisfaction has simultaneous effect on employees’ performance with Zcount 6.336 is bigger than Ztable 1.96. The result of hypothesis Z-Test shown that Ha is accepted means that there is an influence of job satisfaction on employees’ performance at PT. Pioneer Glassindo Utama Medan.
