Abstract

Autisme merupakan salah satu gangguan neurologis yang menyebabkan gangguan perkembangan. Pada autisme, salah satu indikator utama anak dapat didiagnosa autisme ialah dalam hal berbicara. Penyandang autisme mengalami keterlambatan dalam perkembangan berbicara. Pada anak penyandang autisme yang bisa berbicara, anak mengalami kesulitan untuk berkomunikasi dua arah dan mengalami echolalia. Tujuan pelaksanaan magang terapi musik untuk mengetahui efektivitas terapi musik neurologis dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara pada anak autis. Terapi musik neurologis yang digunakan ialah musical speech intonation, vocal intonation therapy, oral motor and respiratory exercise, dan development speech and language training through music. Penanganan terapi musik yang dilakukan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dasar dalam berbicara dan melafalkan suku-suku kata tertentu. Dalam pelaksanaan magang, terapi musik neurologis efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara pada anak autis. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari perkembangan kelima klien. Kelima klien mengalami perkembangan dalam hal fundmental, produksi suara, dan pelafalan. Perkembangan tersebut didapat dari penilaian yang dilakukan pada setiap sesi terapi selesai. Penilaian tersebut menggunakan profil asesmen individu – oral motor dan menghasilkan persentase. Persentase didapat dari menghitung kemampuan klien untuk melakukan kemampuan fundamental, produksi suara, dan pelafalan selama lima kali / Autism is a neurological disorder that causes developmental disorders. In autism, one of the main indicators of a children can be diagnosed with autism is in speech. People with autism experience delays in development of speech. People with autism who can speak, children find it difficult to communicate two-way and had echolalia. The aim of music therapy internship is to examine effectiveness of neurologic music therapy to improve speech skill in children with autism. Neurologic music therapy used is musical speech intonation, vocal intonation therapy, oral motor and respiratory exercise, and speech and language development through music training. Handling of music therapy can enhance basic skill in speech and pronouncing certain syllables. In the implementation of the internship, neurological music therapy effective to improves speech in children with autism. It can be seen from the development of the five clients. The five clients experienced growth in terms of fundamental, sound production, and pronunciation. The development is derived from the assessment conducted on each therapy session is completed. The assessment using the profiles of individual assessment-oral motor and produce a percentage. Calculate the percentage obtained from the client’s ability to perform fundamental, sound production, and pronunciation skills for five times.
