Abstract

In Indonesia, the incidence of hypertension is very high, reaching 34.1%. According to previous research it can be seen that respondents who have low physical activity have a greater risk of developing hypertension, but respondents who have heavy physical activity have a smaller risk of developing hypertension. And labor who work from home can have bad impact, especially in their physical activity. This study aims to find a correlation between blood and physical activity in labor who work from home during the COVID-19 pandemic Method: This study uses a cross sectional design study. The research sample of 54 labor 15-64 years old who work from home using purposive sampling. Retrieval of data using the IPAQ questionnaire - short form and blood pressure measurement with alat Omron Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor HEM-7130 taken from the average value of two measurements with a distance of 5 minutes. The results of the study will be processed with chi square using SPSS version 25.0. Result: The results of bivariate analysis from 55 respondens shows that blood pressure had no significant relationship with physical activity with p-value of 0.299 OR 2.250 CI 95% 0.683-7.417. The results of multivariate analysis showed that the gender variable had a strong correlation with blood pressure with p-value of 0.003. Summary: Based on the results of this study, it was found that there was no significant relationship between blood pressure and physical activity in labor (OR = 2,250). Key Words: Physical activity, blood pressure, work from home, COVID-19.
