Abstract

Latar belakang: Stres pada mahasiswa sangat sering terjadi, terutama pada kalangan mahasiswa tahun ajaran pertama. Terutama pada mahasiswa kedokteran yang memang memiliki metode pelajaran yang berbeda dengan fakultas lain. Tingkat stres pada mahasiswa dipengaruhi oleh banyak macam faktor dan salah satunya adalah faktor psikososial yang akan menjadi pembahasan pokok dalam penelitian ini. Stressor psikososial yang sangat sering dijumpai oleh mahasiswa tahun ajaran pertama adalah perpisahan dengan orang tua. Pada mulanya mereka terbiasa tinggal bersama orang tua, lalu harus tinggal sendiri dikarenakan tuntutan pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian : Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah adanya perbedaan tingkat stres dan kecemasan yang dialami mahasiswa FK UPH 2019 antara yang tinggal bersama orang tua dan yang tidak tinggal bersama orang tua. Metode penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional prospective dengan metode non random; purposive sampling, terhadap mahasiswa tahun pertama jurusan Profesi Dokter Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan pada bulan Januari 2020- Maret 2020. Data akan diperoleh peneliti dengan cara meminta mahasiswa mengisi formulir identitas dan kuesioner DASS 42 untuk dilakukan uji analisis bivariat menggunakan chi-square. Data yang telah dikumpulkan akan dianalisis menggunakan program SPSS 25. Hasil Penelitian : Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan yang muncul di antara tingkat stres dan kecemasan mahasiswa tahun pertama dengan bersama siapa mereka tinggal. Hal ini dibuktikan secara statistik bahwa didapatkan hasil yang tidak signifikan (p-value > 0.05) Kesimpulan: Tidak didapatkan hubungan antara tingkat stres dan kecemasan mahasiswa yang tinggal dengan orang tua maupun yang tinggal sendiri. Kata kunci: stres, tinggal dengan orang tua, tinggal sendiri, mahasiswa tahun pertama / Background: Stress on students is very common, especially among students in their first school year. Especially for medical students who do have different learning methods from other faculties. Stress levels in adolescent students are influenced by various factors and one of them is psychosocial factors which will be the main discussion in this study. Psychosocial stressors that are very often encountered by students in the first school year is separation from parents. In the beginning, they were accustomed to living with parents, then had to live alone due to the demands of education. Research Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine whether there were differences in stress levels experienced by UPH 2019 Faculty of Medicine students between those who lived with their parents and those who did not live with parents. Research Methods: This study uses a cross sectional prospective research design with a non random method; purposive sampling, for first year students majoring in Medical Profession at the Pelita Harapan University Faculty of Medicine in January 2020- March 2020. Data will be obtained by researchers by asking students to fill in identity forms and DASS 42 questionnaires for bivariate analysis using a chi-square test. The data that has been collected will be analyzed using the SPSS 25 program. Research Results: No significant relationship is found between the level of stress and anxiety of first-year students with whom they lived. This was proven statistically that an insignificant result was obtained (p-value> 0.05) Conclusion: There is no relationship between the level of stress and anxiety of students who live with parents and those who live alone.
