Abstract

Setiap perusahaan mempunyai tujuan yang berbeda-beda dalam melakukan promosi. Tujuan dari penulisan skripsi ini untuk mengetahui tujuan dari kegiatan promosi yang dijalankan The Palms Ballroom, strategi yang digunakan, dan media yang menjadi teknik promosinya. Juga kendala-kendala yang dihadapi oleh perusahaan dalam memasarkan jasa penyewaan ruang serba guna pada The Palms Ballroom. Dalam melakukan penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode studi kasus. Hasilpenelitian yang diperoleh penulis berupa tujuan dari The Palms Ballroom dalam melaksanakan promosi adalah untuk meningkatkan penjualan, promosi yang paling banyak digunakan adalah periklanan, dan media yang paling banyak digunakan adalah majalah dan iklan website karena efektif. Kendala yang dihadapi tidak mengganggu tujuan promosi The Palms Ballroom. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan penulis dari adanya kenaikan tingkat penjualan dari tahun 2010 ke 2011. saran penulis untuk The Palms Ballroom adalah mengadakan lebih banyak lagi kegiatan promosi sehingga tingkat penjualan meningkat. / Each company has different goals in doing promotions. The purpose of this paper to find out the purpose of promotional activities undertaken The Palms Ballroom, strategies used, and the media promotion techniques. Also the constraints faced by the company in marketing services function room rental at The Palms Ballroom. In conducting this study the authors use the case study method. The results obtained by the authors of the purpose of The Palms Ballroom in implementing the campaign is to increase sales, promotion is the most widely used advertising, and media is the most widely used website for magazines and advertising effectively. Not interfere with the constraints faced by the Palms Ballroom promotional purposes. It can be concluded the authors of the increase in sales from 2010 to 2011. advice writer for The Palms Ballroom is holding more promotional activities that increase sales levels.
