Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kanker payudara, salah satu jenis kanker yang paling sering terjadi pada wanita, memiliki tingkat mortalitas yang tinggi. Salah satu tatalaksana yang sering dilakukan adalah kemoterapi untuk menghentikan pertumbuhan dan membunuh sel-sel kanker tersebut, namun, kemoterapi tersebut mempunyai pengaruh pada kualitas hidup pasien. Walaupun telah banyak dilaporkan adanya pengaruh kemoterapi adjuvan terhadap kualitas hidup pada pasien kanker payudara grade 1-4 pada rentang umur 20-80 tahun, namun belum banyak diungkapkan hubungan antara kemoterapi dengan kualitas hidup yang dinilai dengan Quality-of-life Questionnaire Core 30 (QLQ C-30) pada pasien kanker payudara grade 2-3 yang berumur 40-50. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemoterapi dengan kualitas hidup yang dinilai dengan kuesioner QLQ C-30 pada pasien kanker payudara grade 2-3 pada umur 40-50 di Yogyakarta. Metode Penelitian: Subjek penelitian adalah pasien kanker payudara grade 2-3 di Yogyakarta yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dengan teknik consecutive sampling secara acak. Penilaian kualitas hidup pada pasien tersebut diatas menggunakan QLQ C-30. Data akan dianalisa secara statistik dengan metode uji t tidak berpasangan dengan derajat kepercayaan 95% (p < 0.05). Hasil: Dari hasil penelitian yang didapat, terdapat penurunan rerata nilai skala kualitas hidup umum yang signifikan dengan nilai p value = 0,000, terdapat perubahan nilai rerata skala fungsi dengan p = 0,152, dan terdapat perubahan nilai rerata skala gejala dengan p = 0,15. Kesimpulan: Terdapat penurunan yang signifikan pada skala kualitas hidup umum antara responden yang belum menggunakan kemoterapi dibanding yang sedang menjalani kemoterapi, namun tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada skala fungsi dan skala gejala. Kata Kunci: Kanker payudara, Kemoterapi, Kualitas Hidup / Background: Breast cancer, one of the most common types of cancer in women, has a high mortality rate. The treatment that is often used to stop the growth and kill the cancer cells is chemotherapy. However, chemotherapy was reported to have a significant negative influence on the quality of life of patients. Although there have been many reports of the influence of adjuvant chemotherapy on quality of life in patients with grade 1-4 breast cancer in the age range of 20-80 years, but there has not been much focus in the relationship between chemotherapy and quality of life as assessed by Quality-of-life Questionnaire Core 30 (QLQ C-30) aimed specifically in grade 2-3 breast cancer patients at age 40-50. Aim: To determine the relationship between chemotherapy and quality of life assessed by the QLQ C-30 questionnaire for breast cancer patients grade 2-3 at the age of 40-50 in Yogyakarta. Method: The subjects are grade 2-3 breast cancer patients in Yogyakarta who met the inclusion criteria with a random consecutive sampling technique. Assessment of quality of life in these patients uses QLQ C-30. Data will be analyzed statistically by the unpaired t test method with a 95% confidence level (p <0.05). Results: The results of the study, there was a significant decrease in the average quality of life scale with a p value = 0,000, a change in the mean function scale with p = 0.152, and a change in the mean symptom scale with p = 0.15. Conclusion: There was a significant decrease in the general quality of life scale among respondents who had not used chemotherapy compared to those undergoing chemotherapy, but there were no significant differences in the function scale and symptom scale.
