Abstract

One of the funding sources of Indonesia's development comes from foreign investment, especially direct investment. It has to be admitted that we are so dependent on foreign investment. That so many efforts has been developed by the government thru kinds of deregulation to attract foreign investors to develop business in Indonesia. Along with it, the government has simplified the rules on the requirements for foreign investors to build a company by guaranteeing the law enforcement to do business in Indonesia . By giving chances to foreign investment by allowing the investment rnge of time more or less about 30-60 years, will cause the foreign law subject (foreign investors) stay longer in Indonesia, and this will result in the difficulties in providing the place of living for them. The need to provide the place of living for foreign investors is to smoothen their long business. Principally, the foreigners living in Indonesia are allowed to have a plot of land and a house to live in, can it be an independent house or a flat as long as it is built on a land of Hak Pakai. The purpose of this limitation is to keep the opportunity of owning a house on the track, which is merely giving supports to their doing business in Indonesia.
