Abstract

Latar Belakang: Stres sangat sering dialami oleh mahasiswa, terutama pada saat pembuatan skripsi. Skripsi merupakan tugas akhir yang wajib dikerjakan oleh mahasiswa sebagai syarat kelulusan. Peran dosen pembimbing dalam proses mahasiswa mengerjakan skripsi sangat penting sebagai salah satu faktor pendukung keberhasilan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan skripsi. Tujuan penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap bimbingan skripsi dengan tingkat stres mahasiswa dalam mengerjakan skripsi. Hipotesis yang dibuktikan adalah terdapat hubungan antara kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap bimbingan skripsi dengan tingkat stres mahasiswa dalam mengerjakan skripsi. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi potong lintang (cross sectional) yang dilakukan pada minimal 77 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan pengisian kuesioner tingkat kepuasan dan kuesioner kadar stres dalam pembuatan skripsi. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah chi square atau uji fisher. Analisis data akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan IBM SPSS 23.0. Hasil Analisis Data: Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada minimal 77 orang, nnamun data yang berhasil didapat sebanyak 139 responden. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah ¬chi square. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan IBM SPSS 23.0. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap bimbingan skripsi yang tergolong puas (72,7%) dan stres mahasiswa dalam mengerjakan skripsi yang tergolong stres sedang/tinggi (81,3%). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap bimbingan skripsi dengan tingkat stres mahasiswa dalam pembuatan skripsi dengan p value 1.000. Nilai odds ratio yang didapatkan sebesar 1,026 dan confidence interval 95% sebesar 0,393-2,680. Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap bimbingan skripsi dengan tingkat stres mahasiswa dalam pembuatan skripsi mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan angkatan 2017. Final project is mandatory for every university student in Indonesia as a requirement for undergaduates to be graduated. The role of lecturer in the process of writing final project is necessary as one of the supporting factor for the student success in final project. Purpose: This research aimed to understand the relationship between the level of satisfaction felt by the students towards the guidance provided by lecturer in final project making with stress level of students in writing final project in University of Pelita Harapan, Faculty of Medicine. The Hipothesis that is about to be proven is that there is a relationship between both. Method: This research uses cross sectional method. Data be collected with the use of student satisfaction questionnaire and student stress level questionnaire. The data be statistically tested with chi square or fisher test. Data be analyzed with IBM SPSS 23.0. Result: This research was done in 139 respondents. The statistical test used is chi square. Data analysis is performed using IBM SPSS 23.0. This study show results of student satisfaction with final project guidance which is classified as satisfied (72,7%) and stress of students working on final project classified as moderate / high stress (81,3%). The results show that there is no significant relationship between student satisfaction with final project guidance with the stress level of students in making theses with p value of 1,000. The odds ratio obtained is 1,026 and 95% confidence interval is 0,393-2,680. Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between student satisfaction with final project guidance with stress levels of students in making final project in studend of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Pelita Harapan, 2017.
