Abstract

HUBUNGAN ANTARA TINGKAT KONTROL ASMA DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PADA PASIEN PENYANDANG ASMA (iv, 75 halaman, 9 tabel, 3 bagan, 3 grafik, 4 lampiran) Latar Belakang: Asma merupakan penyakit heterogen yang biasa ditandai oleh peradangan kronik dari jalur napas. Asma yang tidak terkontrol telah menjadi salah satu masalah kesehatan masyarakat serius yang sedang dihadapi oleh banyak negara karena mengganggu tingkat produktivitas dari penyandang asma. Jika terjadi serangan asma, para penyandang terpaksa meninggalkan kegiatan atau pekerjaan mereka. Karena hal-hal tersebutlah banyak penelitian yang mencari tahu lebih lanjut tentang hubungan tingkat kontrol asma dengan kualitas hidup. Tujuan: Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat kontrol asma dengan kualitas hidup pasien penyandang asma. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi observasional dengan desain studi potong lintang pada 46 subjek penelitian yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Pengambilan data akan dilakukan dengan cara mengisi kuesioner ACT dan m-AQLQ dengan menggunakan google form. Tabulasi data akan dilakukan menggunakan Microsoft Excel 2019 dan analisis data menggunakan program SPSS 25 dengan metode penelitan yang digunakan adalah chi-square. Hasil: Dari 46 responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi, terdapat 67,4% responden yang memiliki kualitas hidup baik dengan asma terkontrol, 13% responden yang memiliki kualitas hidup baik dengan asma tidak terkontrol dan 19,6% responden dengan kualitas hidup buruk dengan asma tidak terkontrol. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat kontrol asma dengan kualitas hidup (p value=0,000; OR = 45.714%; 95% CI sebesar 5,003 – 417,693). Uncontrolled asthma has become one of the major public health problems in many countries because it decreases the level of productivity of asthma patients. During asthma attack, people with asthma are forced to leave their activities or work. Due to those reason, there are many studies covering about the relationship between asthma control levels and quality of life. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find the relationship between control levels of asthma and quality of life of asthma patients. Method: This study used an observational study method with a cross-sectional study design on 46 research subjects who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection will be done by filling out the ACT and m-AQLQ questionnaires using the google form.
