Abstract
Dewasa ini, kegiatan ekonomi sedang mengalami perkembangan menuju ekonomi yang berbasis pengetahuan. Perusahaan tidak hanya fokus pada faktor-faktor produksi secara fisik, tetapi juga terhadap proses value creation perusahaan. Hal ini ditandai dengan timbulnya intellectual capital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti faktor-faktor yang diprediksi dapat mempengaruhi kinerja intellectual capital perusahaan. Faktor-Faktor tersebut adalah strategi bersaing dan corporate governance. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dan dilakukan pada perusahaanperusahaan sektor keuangan yang go public dan terdaftar di BEI pada periode 2007 sampai 2011. Metode pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Dari hasil penelitian dapat dibuktikan bahwa strategi bersaing memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja intellectual capital (VAICTM). Sedangkan corporate governance belum terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja intellectual capital (VAICTM).
