Abstract

Technology is the most important factor in economic growth of a nation. Developing countries.extremely require technology in order to lead its industry to enhance the economic development. As one of the developing countries, Indonesia also requires a transfer technology in industrial sector on products as well as services. Generally, this condition occurs in the framework of foreign investment. Transfer of Technology Arrangement in Indonesia has not been regulated in a particular law that is specifically enacted for that purpose yet. The regulations related to the transfer of technology are spread in many laws, such as: Law Number 1/1967 on Foreign Investment and Law Number 13/1997 on amandment of Law Number 6/1989 on Paten. The arrangement of Transfer of Technology between the investor as the owner of the technology and the national company is executed in a joint venture agreement. This thesis will analyze the transfer of technology arrangement in the joint venture agreement between Australian Dairy Produce Board and Perseroan Dagang & Industri "Marison" N.V..
