Abstract

Banyak kejadian atau peristiwa yang terjadi di sekitar kita tidak luput dari pandangan media massa. Termasuk peristiwa yang terjadi di dalam pemerintahan Indonesia ini. Media massa berperan sebagai sumber informasi bagi masyarakat. Setiap media memiliki pandangan masing – masing dalam mengonstruksi berita. Salah satunya adalah ideologi. Di dalam penelitian ini, akan dibahas mengenai konstruksi pemberitaan di Kompas dan Koran Tempo, dua media cetak nasional yang berbeda ideologi dan pandangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori konstruksi sosial dari Peter Berger dan Luckmann, serta analisis framing untuk menganalisis berita di Kompas dan Koran Tempo. Di dalamnya akan dibahas mengenai peristiwa politik dan hukum yang terjadi di partai politik, yaitu penetapan Ketua Umum Demokrat Anas Urbaningrum sebagai tersangka. Data diambil dari artikel berita mengenai penetapan Anas sebagai tersangka di bulan Februari 2013. Disimpulkan ada persamaan dan perbedaan dari pemberitaan di Kompas dan Koran Tempo. Persamaan dari Kompas dan Koran Tempo adalah sama – sama menentang adanya tindakan korupsi yang merugikan kehidupan masyarakat. Perbedaannya terletak pada pemilihan narasumber, penonjolan isu, dan sifat dari masing – masing media. / Many events or events, happened around us do not escape from the view of the mass media. Including the events that occur in the Indonesian government. The mass media serves as resources for the community. Each media has a view of their mind in constructing the news. One is ideological. In this research, will be discussed on construction news in Kompas and Koran Tempo, two national print media of different ideologies and views. This study uses the theory of social construction of Peter Berger and Luckmann, as well as to analyze the framing analysis of news in Kompas and Koran Tempo. In it will be discussed about the political and legal events that happen in political parties, namely the determination of the Chairman of the Democratic Parties Anas Urbaningrum as a suspect. Data taken from news articles regarding the determination Anas as a suspect in February 2013. Concluded, there are similarities and differences of the news in the Kompas newspaper and Koran Tempo. The similarity of Kompas and Koran Tempo is in against the corruption that harm people's lives. The difference is in the selection of speakers, highlighting the issue, and the character of each media
