Abstract

Persaingan yang ketat dalam dunia bisnis menuntut setiap perusahaan harus bersaing ketat dalam melakukan pemasaran terhadap produk atau jasa yang ditawarkan. Dalam hal ini peran Marketing Public Relations yang merupakan bagian dari bauran pemasaran dapat diterapkan untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu secara efektif dan efisien. Pada tahun 2012 didirikan PT. Skymedia Resource Indonesia atau yang dikenal dengan Skymedia sebagai perusahaan media. Skymedia merupakan perusahaan provider televisi berbayar yang juga memiliki channel-channel televisi.PT. Skymedia adalah salah satu perusahaan yang menerapkan konsep Marketing Public Relations dalam mendukung aktivitas pemasaran Selama pelaksanaan magang, Penulis diberi tanggung jawab sebagai Public Relations untuk menangani klien dan mengelola sosial media milik PT. Skymedia. Public Relations tidak terlibat secara langsung dalam pemasaran, tetapi bertanggung jawab dalam menjembatani perusahaan dengan publik baik internal maupun eksternal dengan tujuan dapat mendukung kegiatan pemasaran. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan Penulis dalam pelaksanaan magang di PT. Skymedia Resource Indonesia adalah penerapan konsep Public Relations dengan publik eksternal maupun internal. Penerapan konsep Public Relations yaitu dalam membina hubungan dengan internal publik merupakan hal yang cukup penting untuk diperhatikan dan dipertimbangkan karena dapat mempengaruhi keberlangsungan perusahaan./ Intense competition in the business world requires every company to compete in the marketing of the product or service that’s being offered. In this case, the role of Marketing and Public Relations, which is part of marketing combination, can be applied to achieve certain goals effectively and efficiently. Established in 2012, PT. Skymedia Resource Indonesia, known as Skymedia is a media company. Skymedia is a premium TV provider company that also have some television channels. Skymedia is one of the companies that apply the concept of Marketing & Public Relations in the support of marketing activities. During the implementation of the internship, the author was given the responsibility as Public Relations officer to handle clients and manage their social media account owned by PT. Skymedia. Public Relations is not directly involved in the marketing, but are responsible for bridging the company with both internal and external audience with the aim to support the marketing activities. The conclusion that the author obtained in the execution of theinternship at PT. Skymedia Resource Indonesia is the application of the Public Relations concept with the internal and external public. Namely the application of the Public Relations concept in the internal relationships with the public is important enough to be considered and taken into account because it can affect the sustainability of the company.
