Abstract

Sistem perbankan yang kuat adalah faktor penting dalam keberlanjutan perekonomian. Hal itu disebabkan oleh peran perbankan dalam penyaluran kredit yang dapat mendorong perekonomian. Krisis global pada tahun 2007-2008 menunjukkan bahwa posisi modal dan likuiditas perbankan perlu diawasi untuk mencegah dampak negatif terhadap perekonomian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah kecukupan modal dan likuiditas berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan penyaluran kredit. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2015 hingga 2019. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 181 yang diperoleh dari 42 bank yang memenuhi kriteria pengambilan sampel. Data penelitian diperoleh dari S&P Market Intelligence. Kecukupan modal diproksikan dengan rasio Common Equity Tier 1, lalu likuiditas diproksikan dengan rasio likuiditas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecukupan modal dan likuiditas berpengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan penyaluran kredit. / A strong and resilient banking system is an important factor for the sustainability of an economy. Banks have the ability to boost an economy through its role in supplying credit. The Great Financial Crisis in 2007-2008 proved that banks’ capital dan liquidity needed further supervision and regulation to avoid the negative impacts to the economy. This research aims to examine the impact of capital adequacy and liquidity towards loan growth. The population in this research are banks that are listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia from 2015 to 2019. The total sample amounts to 181 data from 42 banks that passed the sampling criteria. Data is retrieved from S&P Market Intelligence. Capital adequacy is proxied by the Common Equity Tier 1 ratio, while liquidity is proxied by the liquidity ratio. The results of this research shows that capital adequacy and liquidity has a positive impact on loan growth.
