Abstract

Thailand salah satu negara di Asia Tenggara dan juga merupakan salah satu yang terbesar. Thailand juga merupakan salah satu tujuan utama penanaman modal asing dari negara lain. Namun gejolak yang terjadi didalam politik domestik Thailand sangatlah beragam dan unik. Thailand merupakan negara yang melakukan kudeta terbanyak di dunia. Gejolak ini di pengaruhi oleh pemerintahan Thailand dan militernya. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti akan meneliti Kudeta Thailand yang terjadi di tahun 1991 dan 2006. / Thailand is one of the country in Southeast Asia and one of the largest. Thailand is also one of the main destination for other country to invest. But the turmoil in their domestic politic is unique and various. Thailand is a country with the most coup in the world. This political flunctiation was effected by the government and military. In this research, researcher will study Thailand’s coup in 1991 and 2006. The purpose of this research is to compare the reaction of the international society to Thailand’ s coup in 1991 and 2006 with 2 main focus: the characteristic diefferences between Thailand’s 1991 and 2006 coup in terms of the cause of the coup and also the intervention of King, Thai’s government, and Thai’s military, also The response of international society in which is there is nations and international organizations, and the impact of 1991 and 2006 Thai’s coup to their Foreign Direct Investment net flow. The metode that will be use by researcher is qualitative method that focus on descriptive research, investigative, and rely on historical comparisons in analyzing. The researcher used both Internet and Physical sources to analyze and using Cronological and Impact analyzing method. The result shows that Thailand’s 1991 and 2006 coup gave the long term and short term effect. The impacts happen because of several reasons and factors. The international responses are also vary. The United States of America and the European Unions respon are different with how China and Japan react. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tanggapan masyarakat internasional terhadap kudeta Thailand tahun 1991 dan 2006 dengan 2 fokus utama : perbedaan karakterisitik kudeta tahun 1991 dan 2006 baik secara sebab dan akibat dan juga campur tangan raja, pemerintah, dan militer, tanggapan masyarakat internasional yang didalamnya termasuk negara-negara dan juga orgarnisasi internasional, dan dampak kudeta Thailand tahun 1991 dan 2006 terhadap Net Inflow penanaman modal asing di Thailand. Metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah metode kualitatif yang berfokus dalam penelitan yang deskriptif, investigatif, dan mengandalkan perbandingan historis dalam menganalisis. Peneliti menggunakan data daring dan juga fisik dalam mengumpulkan data dan juga menggunakan teknik analsia kronologis dan dampak.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kudeta Thailand tahun 1991 dan 2006 memberikan dampak panjang dan pendek. Dampak-dampak tersebut terjadi karena adanya beberapa faktor. Tanggapan masyarakat internasional juga berbeda-beda terutama dalam region Amerika dan Eropa dengan Jepang dan Cina/ Thailand is one of the country in Southeast Asia and one of the largest.
