Abstract

Pada era globalisasi ini, perkembangan perekonomian mendorong setiap perusahaan berusaha keras untuk menjadi yang terbaik. Salah satu jenis perusahaan yang ingin mengedepankan kualitas perusahaan serta mengangkat citra baiknya adalah perusahaan ritel yang ada di Indonesia. Penting bagi perusahaan untuk memperhatikan berbagai aspek dalam menjalankan usahanya. Salah satunya yaitu dengan menjalankan tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan terhadap seluruh pemangku kepentingannya (pelanggan, karyawan, pemasok, serta komunitas di sekitar perusahaan). Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) berhubungan erat dengan pembangunan berkelanjutan, di mana perusahaan dalam melaksanakan aktivitasnya harus mendasarkan keputusannya tidak berdasarkan faktor keuangan, melainkan konsekuensi sosial dan lingkungan untuk jangka panjang. Carrefour atau PT. Trans Retail Indonesia merupakan salah satu perusahaan ritel yang melaksanakan tanggung jawab sosialnya terhadap para pengusaha kecil menengah dengan mengadakan program pengembangan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM). Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara. Peneliti melakukan wawancara dengan pihak Carrefour dan tiga pengusaha yang telah mengikuti program pengembangan UMKM Carrefour yang sekarang sudah menjadi pemasok di Carrefour. Dari hasil penelitian dapat dibuktikan bahwa upaya perusahaan dalam menyelenggarakan program CSR dapat membangun citra positif dari pemangku kepentingannya. Diperoleh hasil yang menyatakan bahwa seluruh responden memberikan persepsi yang positif terhadap tanggung jawab sosial yang telah dilakukan oleh Carrefour. / In this era of globalization, economic development encourages every company tries hard to be the best. One type of company that wants to promote the quality of the company as well as raise the good image is a retail company in Indonesia. It is important for companies to pay attention to various aspects of business. One of them is to run the company's social responsibility towards all stakeholders. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) closely related to sustainable development, in which a company in carrying out their activities must be based on decision, but social and environmental consequences to long-term. Carrefour is a retail company that is carrying out its social responsibility by providing development program of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). In this research method used is the method of case study with a qualitative approach. Data collected by interview. The author conducted interviews with the Head of CSR Carrefour and three entrepreneurs who have followed the Carrefour MSME development program which has now become a supplier in Carrefour. From the results, it can be proved that the company’s efforts in implementing CSR programs can build a positive image of the stakeholders. Obtained results are expressed throughout the respondents gave a positive perception of social responsibility that has been done by Carrefour.
