Abstract

Konflik Palestina-Israel belum terselesaikan selama hampir enam dekade. Hal ini, melibatkan banyak negara untuk mendorong proses kemerdekaan Palestina termasuk, Indonesia. Indonesia merupakan negara yang mengedepankan perdamaian dunia sesuai naskah pembukaan UUD 1945. Pada tahun 1955, saat menggelar Konferensi Asia Afrika (KAA) di Bandung, Indonesia berjanji akan berjuang untuk kemerdekaan Palestina. Melihat kesamaan Identitas Indonesia dengan Palestina, membuat Indonesia berkontribusi secara aktif untuk kemerdekaan Palestina hingga saat ini. Terkait dukungan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas bagaimana bentuk dukungan yang dilakukan oleh Indonesia dalam proses perdamaian konflik Palestina-Israel. Penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deksriptif. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori konstruktivisme dengan tiga konsep yaitu organisasi internasional, peran nasional, dan resolusi konflik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa upaya Indonesia mendukung kemerdekaan Palestina telah menempuh banyak cara untuk kemerdekaannya yaitu berperan aktif dalam forum-forum perdamaian dunia khususnya isu Palestina seperti OKI dan PBB. Indonesia juga memiliki dorongan untuk terus terlibat dalam penyelesaian konflik Palestina-Israel, dengan mengedepankan solusi dua negara sebagai upaya menciptakan perdamaian konflik tersebut. Bukan hanya pemerintahan saja yang mendukung kemerdekaan Palestina, tetapi kelompok masyarakat bangsa Indonesia juga ikut serta dalam membantu rakyat Palestina. Banyak sekali lembaga masyarakat yang terbentuk untuk mendukung Palestina agar mendapatkan hak-haknya kembali seperti KNRP, KISPA, BSMI, MER-C, NAASP, dan Interfaith Mission for Peace and Understanding. Organisasi kemanusiaan tersebut memberikan dukungan dalam bentuk perawatan medis, pembangunan, ekonomi, dan dalam bentuk nominal /Conflict had been involving a lot of countries to solve it including Indonesia. Indonesia is a country that prioritize peacefulness among other countries. In 1955, when Indonesia held the 1st Asian Africa Conferences (KAA) in Bandung, Indonesia promised to help and fight for the Palestine independence. Seeing the relationship of Indonesia and Palestine that has a strong bond, we can see that Indonesia is actively and consistently advocate for Palestinian independence to this day. Regarding to this support, this study is aims to discuss how the form of diplomatic support that Indonesia has made for the Palestinian-Israeli conflict peace process. The author uses a qualitative approach and descriptive methods to help the author describe the problems. Moreover, the author used constructivism theory and several concepts include: the concept of international organizations, foreign policy policies, national roles, and conflict resolution to support the author thesis. Furthermore, the research results are shown in effort to support Palestinian independence, Indonesia has taken many ways, such as playing an active role in forums that discuss world peace, especially Palestinian issues such as the OIC and the United Nations. Indonesia also has the urge to continue to be involved in resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, by putting forward a two-state solution as the best way to end this conflict. It is not only the government that supports Palestinian independence, but Indonesian society groups also participate in promoting Palestinian independence, such as the KNRP, KISPA, BSMI, MER-C, NAASP, and Interfaith Mission for Peace and Understanding. This humanitarian organization provides support in the form of medical care, development, economy and in nominal terms for the Palestinian.
