Abstract

Tidak sedikit persoalan mengenai turnover intention menjadi penyebab turunnya kinerja perusahaan. Perubahan kondisi internal dan eksternal akan berdampak pada tingkat stres karyawan dan iklim organisasi yang dapat menurunkan tingkat kepuasan kerja sehingga memicu niat karyawan untuk berpindah (turnover intention). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengukur pengaruh stres kerja dan iklim organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja dan turnover intention. Penelitian ini merupakan adaptasi dari penelitian sebelumnya yang telah dilakukan oleh Sapulette (2017). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, di mana data penelitian didapatkan dari kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 62 orang karyawan PT. XYZ. Kemudian, data tersebut diolah menggunakan SPSS 25 dan dianalisis dengan analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa stres kerja berpengaruh negatif terhadap kepuasan kerja dan berpengaruh positif terhadap turnover intention. Selanjutnya, iklim organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja dan berpengaruh negatif terhadap turnover intention. Sedangkan kepuasan kerja tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap turnover intention. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan bagi PT. XYZ untuk mengurangi faktor-faktor penyebab stres kerja dan meningkatkan iklim organisasi agar karyawan memiliki kepuasan dalam bekerja dan menurunkan niat untuk berpindah. / Many problems regarding turnover intention are the cause of the decline in company performance. Changes in internal and external conditions will have an impact on employee stress levels and organizational climate which can reduce the level of job satisfaction so that it triggers employee intention to move (turnover intention). The purpose of this study was to measure the effect of job stress and organizational climate on job satisfaction and turnover intention. This research is an adaptation of previous research conducted by Sapulette (2017). This study uses a quantitative method, in which the research data is obtained from a questionnaire distributed to 62 employees of PT. XYZ. Then, the data were processed using SPSS 25 and analyzed by path analysis. The results of this study state that job stress has a negative effect on job satisfaction and has a positive effect on turnover intention. Furthermore, the organizational climate has a positive effect on job satisfaction and has a negative effect on turnover intention. Meanwhile, job satisfaction does not affect turnover intention. The results of this study are expected to be an input for PT. XYZ to reduce the factors that cause work stress and improve the organizational climate so that employees have job satisfaction and reduce the intention to move.
