Abstract

Komunikasi massa telah menjadi bagian dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Televisi sebagai salah satu media massa mampu menarik perhatian khalayak luas. Tayangan televisi dapat dibedakan berdasarkan bentuk, teknik, dan sistem penayangannya. Program Akademi Sahur Indonesia sebagai Program Reality Show ditayangkan live di televisi. Program ini adalah ajang pencarian bakat dengan unsur religius Islam yang kuat. Proses produksi Akademi Sahur Indonesia terbagi menjadi tiga yaitu proses pra-produksi, produksi, dan paska produksi. Dalam proses produksi ditemukan konsep dramatisasi. Penulis menganalisis proses produksi menggunakan konsep komunikasi massa, konsep produksi, dan konsep dramatisasi. Proses produksi dan paska produksi dalam Program Akademi Sahur Indonesia terjadi pada saat yang bersamaan karena proses penyiaran yang dilakukan secara live. Banyak unsur dramatisasi yang digunakan dalam Program Akademi Sahur Indonesia. Hal ini dapat menjadi masalah karena sebagai tayangan religius, Program Akademi Sahur Indonesia harus menampilkan tayangan apa adanya tanpa banyak rekayasa. Unsur dramatisasi dapat ditemukan dari segi penonton, karakter peserta, dan gimmick yang digunakan. / Mass communication has become a part of daily life. Television as one of the mass media has been able to attract people’s attention. Television program can be distinguished based on the the format, technique, and the broadcast system. Akademi Sahur Indonesia as the reality show program is broadcast live on television. This program is a talent search show with a strong religious Moslem value. The production process on Akademi Sahur Indonesia is divide into three stages, which are preproduction, production, and post-production. Dramatization concept found among the production process. The writer analyze production process using mass communication concept, production concept, and dramatization concept. Production process and post production process on Akademi Sahur Indonesia are occurred in the same time, because the Program was broadcast live. There are dramatization concept that has been used by Akademi Sahur Indonesia. This circumstances could become a problem because a religious program should not use any deceit action due to the moral value. The dramatization concept could be seen from audience, contestant’s character, and gimmick.
