Abstract
Semenjak industri asuransi mengalami perkembangan, tabel mortalita atau yang umumnya disebut Life Table mulai digunakan oleh para aktuaris sebagai sumber data untuk menghitung beberapa terminologi khas dalam dunia aktuaria. Terminologi tersebut mencakup probabilitas kematian individu dalam suatu populasi pada rentang waktu tertentu, ekspektasi umur hidup individu sejak kelahiran, probabilitas survival pada suatu umur tertentu, dan sebagainya. Mengetahui pentingnya peranan Life Table, pembaharuan yang konsisten perlu senantiasa dilakukan mengingat keterbatasan data yang kerap terjadi dalam setiap kesempatan pembuatannya. Penelitian ini menawarkan suatu metode pembentukan Life Table dengan Logit Model Life Table System yang didasarkan pada Teknik Estimasi Tidak Langsung. Teknik Estimasi Tidak Langsung dimaksudkan untuk menentukan mortalitas anak-anak dan orang dewasa Indonesia yang datanya tidak tersedia. Data diperoleh dari berbagai sumber, namun mayoritas data yang digunakan diperoleh dari situs www.dhsprogram.com. Data diolah dengan Teknik Estimasi Tidak Langsung, yakni Metode Brass versi Trussel untuk estimasi mortalitas anak, Metode Brass untuk estimasi mortalitas orang dewasa serta Logit Model Life Table System untuk membentuk Life Table. Hasil dari perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa data yang diperoleh cukup kredibel meskipun tetap perlu dilakukan beberapa manipulasi. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah terbentuknya sebuah Life Table untuk Indonesia tahun 2012 yang dapat digunakan oleh para aktuaris maupun para analis demografi.

Since the insurance industry experienced growth, actuaries were starting to use the Life Table to calculate most of typical actuarial terminologies. That terminologies are death probability, complete life expectation at birth, survival probability and so on. By knowing the importance of Life Table which is needed to be constantly updated and also by knowing every time it’s constructed with data limitation, this research offer a method to form the Life Table with Logit Model Life Table System which is based on Indirect Estimation. There’s no child and adult mortality data
for Indonesian population so indirect estimation is intended to estimate Indonesia’s child and adult mortality. Data are obtained from many sources, but most of them are from www.dhsprogram.com. Data are used alongside Indirect Estimation Technique to obtained child and adult mortality and alongside Logit Model Life Table System to obtained
the Life Table. Indirect technique used to calculate child mortality is Brass Method Trussel Version. Indirect technique used to calculate adult mortality is Brass Method. The result of those calculation showed that the data have a good credibility although it still needs some manipulation. The final result of this research is the Indonesia Life Table for 2012.
