Abstract
People do need space to live. The greater amount of people live the more land is needed to build the house, and the higher price it will be. Highrise apartment is the answer to solve this problem. It’s not easy to design such a vertical housing. Security, social interaction, utility, transportation, are some of the important aspects as well as the horizontal housing can easily provide. But we can’t think horizontally anymore. Like it or not, in the future there will be many highrise apartments in the city skyline. Jakarta as a big city and the Capital of Indonesia do face this problem. The Permata Simprug Residences is one of the answer to solve this problem. Located in the South of Jakarta, this highrise apartment will try to fulfill people needs for living by transforming their needs into such a vertical housing design.
