Abstract
This report contains the problem of the U.D.Golden Sari about the current system, theories applied to solved the problems, information about the company and summary to develop the system. The aim of this report is building a information system based on computer which can help U.D.Golden Sari in performing their transaction activity. The computer base information system that will be developed is including the database design and application. The application system provides some features which support the company doing their activity. Those features are accessing data of the customers, employee, suppliers, products, transaction which include add, delete, update record; generating customer invoice; producing report such as transaction report and product report. Microsoft SQL Server 2000, as a database software, is used for designing the system, while for the application is using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0.
