Abstract
This field work report is written based on the analysis done on problems that exist in the current system in PT. Tirta Borneo Agung. Problems lie mainly on transactions processing and inventory. The current system appears to be incapable of supporting its tremendously increasing transaction activities, due to the practice of traditional based and outdated system. This report is written to illustrate the problems and solutions for each problems that mainly occur in sales transactions activity and database capacity. It will cover all activity that take place during research, analysis and its problem solving. The author used an SLC (System Life Cycle) technique to provide solutions to its problems, designed the system using Data Flow Diagram to describes data flow within the system, and user interface designed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 with Microsoft Access 2000 for Database. The result of this report is the solutions for the company that will be able to handle all the problems and the boundaries from the current system.
