Abstract
The task of the Scholarship Department of Pelita Harapan University is to process the scholarship application form and to make a decision whether the applicant is accepted and will be given scholarship. The purpose of this field work is to build an information system which can support the storing and processing of scholarship data in the Scholarship Department. The main problem in Scholarship Department is dealing with data processing in such limited time of work. The development of the information system includes the database design and application. The information system offers several features in order to help Scholarship Department staffs administer the work service program and assess the scholarship data in an easier and faster way. The process of developing this information system is using the System Life Cycle methods (SLC). This information system is developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft Access 2003 to maintain the database.
