Abstract

Kedukaan adalah suatu reaksi yang wajar yang dikarenakan kehilangan orang yang dicintai dan pada akhirnya membawa banyak perubahan dalam diri pada orang tersebut. Seseorang yang berduka akan mengalami berbagai emosi, termasuk sedih, marah, kekosongan, rasa bersalah, ketakutan, kecemasan, penolakan, kekecewaan dalam dirinya dan mungkin mengalami perubahan sosial. Tujuan dari kegiatan magang ini adalah untuk menganalisa efek terapi musik dengan pendekatan Orff pada anak yang mengalami kedukaan di panti asuhan. Tingkat kedukaan yang dialami oleh anak – anak di panti asuhan diukur dengan TRIG (Texas Revised Inventory of Grief). Pengukuran ini dilakukan sebanyak dua kali, yaitu saat sebelum dan sesudah terapi musik. Hasil kegiatan magang yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terapi musik dengan pendekatan Orff pada anak yang mengalami kedukaan terbukti dapat mengurangi tingkat kedukaan pada anak – anak. / Grief is a natural reaction because loss of a loved one and in the end brought many changes within the person. Someone who is grieving will experience a variety of emotions, including sadness, anger, emptiness, guilt, fear, anxiety, rejection, disappointment in himself and may experience social change. The objective of this internship is to analyze the effects of music therapy on children with Orff approach experiencing grief at the orphanage. The level of grief experienced by children in orphanages measured by TRIG (Texas Revised Inventory of Grief). These measurements were performed twice, is before and after music therapy. Results internship activities conducted showed that Orff approach to music therapy in a child with grief proven to reduce the level of grief in children.
