Abstract

Perkebunan kelapa sawit PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang penjualan buah kelapa sawit. Sistem penjualan dan pencatatan yang ada pada PT XYZ masih dilakukan secara manual ini menyebabkan kesalahan dalam mencatat sehingga terjadinya kerugian bagi perkebunan. Tujuan penelitian adalah merancang sistem informasi pada perkebunan kelapa sawit PT XYZ yang secara efektif dapat memenuhi kebutuhan bisnis di perkebunan kelapa sawit PT XYZ. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan wawancara kepada perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit pada PT XYZ untuk mengumpulkan data – data seperti hasil panen, data gudang, proses transaksi, profil perusahaan, sejarah perkebunan, data karyawan, data historis transaksi, dan struktur organisasi. Sistem informasi dirancang menggunakan software XAMPP, Notepad++, dan Google Chrome dengan metode System Development Life Cycle yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, analisis, desain, dan implementasi. Kemudian dianalisis kelayakan sistem yang terdiri dari analisis kelayakan teknis dan operasional. Setelah tahap implementasi sistem pada perkebunan kelapa sawit akan dilakukan pengukuran efektivitas sistem informasi dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari dua dimensi yaitu dimensi kualitas informasi dan dimensi kualitas sistem. Dari hasil kuesioner, diperoleh rata – rata skor pada dimensi kualitas informasi sebesar 23 dan dimensi kualitas sistem sebesar 23,72. Berdasarkan analisis dengan rentang skala hasil kuesioner diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa sistem informasi yang dirancang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pada perkebunan kelapa sawit pada PT XYZ dengan seluruh dimensi dengan sangat efektif. Rata – rata hasil pengukuran efektivitas pada kuesioner adalah sangat efektif dengan nilai 23 dari 25. / PT XYZ's oil palm plantation is a company engaged in the sale of oil palm fruit. The sales and recording system that exists at PT XYZ is still done manually. This causes errors in recording that result in losses to the plantation. The research objective was to design an information system on PT XYZ's oil palm plantations that can effectively meet the business needs of PT XYZ's oil palm plantations. Data collection was carried out by observation and interviews with oil palm plantation companies at PT XYZ to collect data such as crop yields, warehouse data, transaction processes, company profiles, plantation history, employee data, transaction historical data, and organizational structure. The information system is designed using XAMPP, Notepad ++, and Google Chrome software with the System Development Life Cycle method which consists of planning, analysis, design and implementation stages. Then analyzed the feasibility of the system consisting of technical and operational feasibility analysis. After the implementation stage of the system in oil palm plantations, the effectiveness of the information system will be measured using a questionnaire consisting of two dimensions, namely the dimension of information quality and the dimension of system quality. From the results of the questionnaire, it was found that the average score on the dimensions of information quality was 23 and the system quality dimension was 23.72. Based on the analysis with the scale range of the results of the questionnaire, it is concluded that the information system designed can meet the needs of oil palm plantations at PT XYZ with all dimensions very effectively. The mean - the result of measuring the effectiveness of the questionnaire is very effective with a value of 23 out of 25.
