Abstract
Masalah pengangguran di kota Jakarta semakin lama semakin menjadi permasalahan pelik seiring dengan meningkatnya jumlah tamatan sekolah menengah setiap tahunnya yang tidak diimbangi dengan kemampuan untuk bersaing dalam mencari pekerjaan. Keadaan seperti ini semakin memperburuk kondisi ekonomi dan sosial negara kita. Untuk itulah keberadaan suatu Balai Latihan Kerja terpadu bisa menjadi satu alternatif solusi. Tema inilah yang penulis angkat sebagai tema proyek tugas akhir ini. Balai Latihan Kerja yang berlokasi di sekitar Senen, Jakarta Pusat, ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendidikan informal kepada para tamatan sekolah menengah sehingga nantinya mereka mampu bersaing dalam mendapatkan pekerjaan.
