Abstract

Desain antarmuka yang disajikan dalam tugas akhir ini ditujukan untuk aplikasi web yang dikembangkan oleh pemerintah wilayah Jakarta Timur sebagai bagian dari pelayanan masyarakat untuk memberikan informasi, laporan dan respon yang lebih cepat kepada masyarakat. Antarmuka ini dikembangkan dengan bekerja sama dengan PT. Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel) untuk meningkatkan aplikasi web saat ini yang memiliki kekurangan di sejumlah daerah termasuk tampilan informasi yang tepat, tata letak dan ketidakmampuan untuk dapat diakses melalui perangkat mobile. Antarmuka ini dikembangkan menggunakan metodologi The Wheel Life Cycle. Proses dimulai dengan melakukan analisis dari aplikasi saat ini dan mengumpulkan requirements melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasilnya kemudian diubah dalam bentuk cacatan kerja dan dirinci menggunakan activity diagram.Langkah selanjutnya adalah dengan memvisualisasikan ide-ide dengan membuat sketsa dan desain konseptual menggunakan UML 2.0, melakukan task analysis, menciptakan struktur informasi menggunakan site map dan wireframe untuk menentukan layout. Desain dikembangkan dengan total empat iterasi dan pada setiap iterasi, evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan heuristic evaluation danusability testing. Hasil akhir dari perancangan ini adalah sebuah aplikasi web dengan desain antarmuka yang responsive, yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk mengakses aplikasi dari perangkat mobile seperti smartphone dan tablet, dan mampu membantu pengguna dalam mencari dan melihat informasi yang diperlukan. / The interface design presented in this final assignment is intended for a web application developed by the Eastern Jakarta district Government as part of its community service to provide information, report and faster response to the people. This interface is developed in collaboration with Telkomsel to improve the current web application which is lacking in a number of areas including proper information display and layout, and inaccessibility when viewed using a mobile device. The interface is developed using the Wheel Life Cycle methodology. This design process starts by conducting analysis of the current application and gathering requirements through interviews and observations. The results are then turned into work notes and detailed by activity diagrams. The next step is visualizing the ideas by creating sketches and conceptual designs using UML 2.0, conducting task analysis, creating an information structure using a site map and wireframes to specify layouts. The design is developed in a total of four iterations and at the end of each iteration, an evaluation is performed using heuristic evaluation and usability testing. The result is a responsive web application interface design that allows user to access the application from mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, and is able to assist user in finding and viewing the necessary information.
