Abstract

LCI database merupakan sebuah sistem berbasis data yang menampung data LCI, data LCI ini digunakan untuk mengevaluasi seluruh tahapan siklus hidup suatu produk. Kegunaan lain dari LCI database adalah memungkinkan didapatnya perkiraan jumlah kumulatif dari dampak lingkungan yang diakibatkan oleh sebuah produk. Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang membutuhkan LCI database agar dapat meningkatkan potensinya dalam berbagai bidang. Dibuatnya sistem ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan sarana yang dapat menampung data LCI yang valid yang disajikan melalui web, dimana data ini dapat dengan mudah diakses untuk dijadikan acuan bagi semua pihak yang membutuhkan data ini. Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan (System Development Life Cycle) dimana metodologi yang dipilih adalah RAD (Rapid Application Development). Requirements yang dibutuhkan oleh calon pengguna harus bisa terpenuhi agar sistem yang dibangun dapat mengurangi masalah yang ada pada sistem yang berjalan saat ini. Hasil dari proyek ini adalah sebuah sistem lifecycle inventory database berbasis web yang mudah diakses dan memiliki validitas data yang jelas. Fitur yang disediakan pada web yang dibangun yaitu pengguna sistem ini dapat mengelola data LCI maupun mengusulkan data LCI baru yang dimilikinya sehingga sistem ini dapat dijadikan sumber acuan data bagi Indonesia untuk melakukan assessment maupun analisis suatu produk. / LCI database is a system that holds LCI data, in which the LCI data is used to evaluate all phases of the product life cycle. Another use of LCI database is to provide data that can be used to approximate cumulative total of the environmental impacts caused by a product. Indonesia is one of the countries that need LCI database in order to increase their potential in many sectors. The system aim is to create a web-based LCI database that can accommodate valid LCI data, where the data can be easily accessed as a reference for all those who need the data. This system developed using SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) and the methodology being used is RAD (Rapid Application Development). User requirements are necessary to be fulfilled so that the system can be built to reduce existing problems in the current system. The result of this project is a web-based life cycle inventory database that can be easily accessed and a database which can provide a clear data validity. Features provided on the web invite user to edit and propose a new LCI data, therefore the system can be used as a reference source data for all sector in Indonesia. Thus, in the future, Indonesia can conduct an inventory analysis using this inventory database for many purposes.
