Abstract

FIK Awards merupakan acara pemberian penghargaan atas prestasi yang diraih kepada mahasiswa, dosen, dan staf. Oleh karenanya, acara ini menjadi salah satu motivasi bagi mahasiswa, dosen, dan staf untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas yang lebih baik lagi. Pada saat ini proses penentuan pemenang FIK Awards dilakukan secara manual dan bersifat subjektif. Tugas akhir ini adalah untuk merancang sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis web yang dapat membantu panitia FIK Awards dalam melakukan proses pendaftaran dan pemilihan kandidat. Pembangunan sistem ini menggunakan kerangka kerja System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan metodologi Rapid Application Development (RAD), dan protoyping sebagai metode yang digunakan. Pengembangan sistem ini dimodelkan dengan diagram UML versi 2.0 (Unified Modeling Language) seperti activity diagram, use case diagram, use case description, dan class diagram. Sistem ini dirancang menggunakan software Subline Text 2 dan Xampp Server sebagai localhost. Hasil dari tugas akhir adalah berupa sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis web untuk proses pendaftaran dan pemilihan kandidat pada FIK Awards. Sistem ini mempersingkat waktu penentuan pemenang FIK Awards. / FIK Awards is given for the achievements of all students and faculty members. The main reason of this awards is to continuously improve the quality of all students and faculty members.this thesis is to design a web based decision support system that can help FIK Awards committees in registration and voting process. The system is built using System Development Life Cycle framework, Rapid Application Development methodology and protoyping. This system model is developed with UML 2.0 (Unified Modeling Language) such as activity diagram, use case diagram, use case description and class diagram. The system is designed using software Subline Text 2 and Xampp Server as localhost. The result of this thesis is web based decision support system for registration and voting process at FIK Awards. This system is able to minimizes time to determine FIK Awards’ winners.
