Abstract

Dalam penelitian tugas akhir ini dilakukan perancangan perangkat sistem untuk akses pintu garasi otomatis dengan menggunakan platform Android. Penelitian ini didasari oleh fakta bahwa perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi saat ini semakin banyak, sehingga memberikan kemudahan dalam kehidupan manusia. Sebagai salah satu implementasi teknologi tersebut adalah sistem untuk akses pintu garasi secara otomatis. Perancangan sistem ini terdiri dari software, perangkat komputer, dan perangkat mekanik. Perangkat mekanik dibuat dalam bentuk prototipe yang menyerupai bentuk asli rumah bergarasi. Akses pintu garasi tersebut dikendalikan oleh smartphone dengan platform Android dan Arduino UNO microcontroller. Perancangan sistem ini menggunakan smartphone dengan platform Android untuk akses membuka pintu garasi dan menggunakan dua buah sensor jarak ultrasonik HC-SR 04 untuk akses menutup pintu garasi. Sistem ini beijalan dalam satu jaringan LAN, dengan menggunakan divais jaringan yaitu wireless router. Sebagai penggerak pintu garasi digunakan motor servo. Semua komponenkomponen elektronis tersebut dikendalikan melalui Arduino UNO. Dari beberapa pengujian yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem berjalan dengan baik dalam waktu, jarak, dan keadaan tertentu. Arduino UNO dapat menerima perintah dari Android smartphone dengan waktu respon terlama 0,8 detik dan dengan ketentuan maksimum waktu respon tersebut dapat mencakup jarak hingga 19 meter dalam keadaan ruang terbuka. / This final project focuses on the system for automatic garage door access using the Android platform. The research is based on the fact that the development of the science and technology these days becomes faster and greater, thus providing convenience in human life. As the one of the example from the implementation of the technology is a system for automatic garage door access. The design of the system consists of software, computer hardwares, and mechanical devices. Mechanical device is made in the form of a prototype that resembles the original form of home with garage. The access to the garage door is controlled by a smartphone with the Android platform and Arduino UNO microcontroller. Design of the system uses a smartphone with Android platform to open the garage door and two ultrasonic distance sensors HC-SR 04 to close the garage door. The system operates in the same LAN, using the wireless network router device. As the garage door actuator servo motor is used. All electronic components are controlled via the Arduino UNO. From several tests conducted, it can be concluded that the system runs well in term of time, distance, and certain circumstances. Arduino UNO can receive commands from Android smartphone with the longest response time of 0.8 seconds and with a maximum response time of such provisions can cover distances up to 19 meters in an open space.
