Abstract

Lima S merupakan singkatan dari Lima istilah Jepang yang berkaitan dengan pemeliharaan tempat kerja yaitu Seiri, Seiton, Seiosu, Seiketsu, Shitsuke yang memiliki arti dalam bahasa Indonesia adalah lima R yaitu Ringkas, Rapi, Resik, Rawat, dan Rajin. Sedangkan singkatan lima S dalam bahasa Inggris adalah Organization, Tidiness, Purity, Cleanliness, Dicipline. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meminimaliasi lead time pada kegiatan Tune-Up dengan penerapan secara langsung metode 5s yaitu Seiri (pemilahan), Seiton (penataan), Seiso (pembersihan), Seiketsu (pemantapan), Shitsuke(pembiasaan) pada kegiatan tersebut. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan dengan langkha-langkah sebagai berikut. Kegiatan pertama yang dilakukan adalah pengambilan waktu dari masing-masing aspek yang ada pada kegiatan tune-up. Setelah mendapatkan data yang dibutuhkan, selanjutnya data tersebut akan diolah menggunakan bantuan metode pengukuran waktu kerja dan selanjutnya dihitung waktu baku dari kegiatan Tune-Up. Setelah mendapatkan waktu baku, maka hasil tersebut akan dievaluasi dan dilakukan pencarian penyebab permasalahan pada kegiatan Tune-Up. Setelah ditemukan penyebab permasalaha, maka langkah selanjutnya adalah akan dilakukan analisa diagram sebab akibat dengan bantuan Fish Bone Diagram. Setelah ditemukan penyebab-penyebab permasalahan tersebut, makan dilakukan penerapan metode 5s secara langsung terhadap kegiatan tersebut. Sehingga akan didapatkan waktu kegiatan Tune-Up yang baru, dan dilakukan ulang pengolahan waktu tersebut sehingga menghasilkan waktu baku yang diinginkan. Setelah didapatkan, maka akan dianalisa perbuahan yang terjadi pada kegiatan Tune-Up Pada akhirnya dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penerapan metode 5s pada kegiatan tersebut membawa perubahan pada waktu peyelesaian waktu kegiatan Tune-Up. Waktu kegiatan Tune-Up berkurang sebesar 12,51% dari waktu sebelunya dan jumlah langkah atau urutan kerja berkurang menjadi 9 langkah yang dari sebelumnya berjumlah 11 langkah kerja. / Five S is an acronym for five Japanese terms relating to the maintenance work that is Seiri, Seiton, Seiosu, Seiketsu, Shitsuke that have meaning in Indonesian are the five R Ringkas, Rapi, Resik, Rawat, dan Rajin. While the five S stands for in English is Organization, Tidiness, Purity, Cleanliness, Dicipline. This study aims to minimization lead time on activities Tune-Up with a direct application of the method 5S Seiri (sorting), Seiton (arrangement), Seiso (cleaning), Seiketsu (strengthening), Shitsuke (habituation) in the activity. The research will be conducted with the following steps. The first activity undertaken is taking time out of each aspect of the tune-up activities. After getting the required data, then the data will be processed using the help of the method of measurement time work and then calculated the standard time of the Tune-Up activities. After getting the standard time, the results will be evaluated and carried out searches at the cause of the Tune-Up activities. Once the cause is found the problem, then the next step is going to be analyzed with the aid of a causal diagram Fish Bone Diagram. Having discovered the causes of these problems, the application of 5S methods meal done directly to the activity. So that will be obtained when the activities of the new Tune-Up, and reproducible processing time so as to produce the desired standard time. Once established, it will be analyzed change happened on activities Tune-Up. In the end it can be concluded that the application of the method 5S on these activities bring about change at the time for complete Tune-Up activities. Tune-Up time activities decreased by 12.51% from before time and number of steps or sequence of work reduced to 9 steps of the previous total of 11 step work.
