Abstract

“Gillian’s Billiard and Café” is a company which manages transactions and activities that is under the company PT. Amka Perkasa. This company deals with entertainment business in managing billiard game and restaurant. This company needs to keep track on each transaction and calculate total transactions every day in order to analyze income and document it as reports. Furthermore, it observes tables that are being used in order to manage waiting list and reservation list. It also controls the checking of inventory and storing of purchasing information, member list, discount list, supplier, employee, and other related information. To overcome these tasks efficiently and effectively, it has to have a system that can support the monitoring of the transactions, the processing and storing of company information, and other features that facilitate activities in this company. The purpose of this thesis is to develop a system that is able to help the process of monitoring transactions every day to evaluate total transactions, produce reports, and provide easier ways to store, maintain, and obtain data. This system includes the creation of database and application program to facilitate the monitoring business activities in “Gillian’s Billiard and Café”. The development of this system uses stages of System Life Cycle approach. This system produces database, forms, reports, and other application program that is capable to fulfill user requirements.
