Abstract

In present times, a lot of Indonesian citizen like to consume instant noodle. Either because of the good taste it has, easy and fast to be cooked, or maybe because of the cheap price. The local producer of instant noodle sell a lot each year and even some of them already export their products abroad. Moreover, a lot of global brand and product of instant noodle imported into Indonesia. These imported instant noodle product have a lot of difference with the local taste internally and externally. A lot of factors affecting imported instant noodle's sales and also consumer's purchase intention. From many factors, this research will choose three variables that might affect consumers' purchase intention which consist of advertisement, perceived price, and perceived quality. The research will be conducted around South Tangerang since the sales of instant noodle both local produced and imported instant noodles have a high sales rate and high consumer rate. After around four months doing this research, the results are advertisement negatively insignificant towards purchase intention, while perceived price and perceived quality both have positively significant influence toward consumers' purchase intention.
