Abstract

Pada tugas akhir ini membahas pengembangan aplikasi web yang dapat meningkatkan proses bisnis di perusahaan jasa Repro Entertainment. Repro Entertainment adalah perusahaan jasa yang membantu pelanggan mengatur acara pernikahan, acara ulang tahun, dan acara perusahaan. Proses transaksi berjalan di perusahaan masih dilakukan secara manual. Pencatatan data transaksi, data pelanggan, data staff serta data paket masih menggunakan kertas. Oleh karena itu, rentan terhadap kesalahan manusia. Sistem yang diusulkan bermaksud untuk mengatasi masalah. Pengembangan aplikasi web ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap: analisis dari sistem, pengumpulan persyaratan, desain, dan konstruksi. Metodologi yang digunakan untuk mengembangakan aplikasi yang diusulkan ini yaitu Rapid Application Development(RAD) dengan menggunakan metode prototyping. Aplikasi yang diusulkan dibangun dengan menggunakan PHP dan MySQL. Sistem pemodelan dilakukan dengan menggunakan black box testing dengan skenario dan pengujian fungsional. Sistem yang diusulkan memfasilitasi pelanggan dalam melakukan pembelian secara online. Pelanggan dapat melihat brosur paket dan layanan yang ditawarkan oleh perusahaan serta dapat langsung berbicara dengan salah satu staff yang sedang online melalui aplikasi chat. Aplikasi ini juga dapat merekam riwayat pembelian pelanggan dan juga membantu Repro Entertainment dalam meningkatkan bisnis mereka dan proses transaksi. / This final year project discusses the development of a web application that can improve the business processes in service company Repro Entertainment. Repro Entertainment is a service company that helps customers organize wedding events, birthday events, and company events. The current transaction processes in the company are still done manually. Transaction recording, customer data recording, staff, and package are still using paper as the media. Therefore, it is prone to human error. The proposed system intends to overcome these problems The development of the web application consists of several phases: analysis of the current system, requirements gathering, design, and construction The methodology used to develop the proposed application is Rapid Application Development (RAD) with prototyping method. The proposed application is built using PHP and MySQL. The modelling system is done using UML version 2.0. Application testing is conducted using black-box testing with scenario and functional testing. The proposed system facilitates customers in making purchases online. Customers can see the package flyer and services offered by the company and also can directly chat with one of the staff. This application can also record customer purchase history and also helps Repro Entertainment to improve their business transactions and processes.
