Abstract

Performance Appraisal (PA) merupakan suatu sistem yang digunakan untuk memantau kinerja karyawan dalam mencapai tujuan perusahaan. Dengan adanya PA, kinerja karyawan akan dibandingkan dengan standar perusahaan. Hasil PA akan berdampak pada kenaikan gaji bagi karyawan dengan performa baik atau pelatihan tambahan bagi karyawan dengan performa yang kurang. Pada saat ini, sistem PA di PT. Matahari Putra Prima Tbk. (PT. MPPA) menggunakan dua aplikasi PA yang berbeda sehingga proses pengumpulan data menjadi sulit dan memakan waktu. Aplikasi sistem saat ini juga tidak fleksibel dalam pengaturan konten aplikasi. Selain itu, status proses pengumpulan hasil PA tidak dapat dipantau. Oleh karena itu, PT. MPPA membutuhkan suatu sistem PA yang dapat menunjang kebutuhannya dalam memantau performa karyawannya. Pembangunan aplikasi PA ini menggunakan metodologi pengembangan sistem Rapid Application Development (RAD) prototyping. Software yang digunakan untuk merancang aplikasi adalah Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 sedangkan Microsoft SQL Server Express adalah software yang digunakan untuk database aplikasi. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan adalah C# dan teknologi yang digunakan dalam tugas akhir ini adalah ASP.NET 4.5. Pada akhir penelitian ini, hasil yang didapatkan adalah sebuah aplikasi PA yang dapat mempermudah proses melakukan PA dan mempercepat proses pengumpulan hasil PA dikarenakan PT. MPPA tidak perlu lagi menggunakan dua aplikasi yang berbeda. Aplikasi ini juga lebih fleksibel karena tersedia menu untuk melakukan pengaturan konten aplikasi. Selain itu, status proses pengumpulan hasil PA juga dapat dipantau. / Performance Appraisal (PA) is a system that is used to monitor employee’s performance in achieving the company’s goal. Employee’s performance will be measured according to the standard. The PA results can affect to the increase of salary for employee with good performance or additional training for employee with bad performance. Currently, PT. Matahari Putra Prima Tbk. (PT.MPPA) is using two different PA applications so the collection of final results is complicated and time consuming. These applications are also not flexible for application settings. Moreover, the status of PA results collection cannot be monitored. Therefore, PT. MPPA needs a PA application that can accommodates its needs in monitoring the employees’ performance. The development of this PA application is using Rapid Application Development (RAD) prototyping as the methodology. The software used in designing the application is Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 while Microsoft SQL Server Express is the software used for the database. Programming language used for this application is C# and the technology used is ASP. NET 4.5. At the end of the study, the final result is a PA application that can simplify the PA process and the collection of PA results will be faster because PT. MPPA will not use two different applications for PA. This application is more flexible because there is a menu available for the application settings. The status of PA result collection can also be monitored.
