Abstract
Pengembangan aplikasi Balanced Scorecard (BSC) yang disajikan dalam tugas akhir ini ditujukan untuk membantu pelaksanaan BSC di PT. Matahari Putra Prima Tbk. (MPPA). Sistem BSC yang masih manual membuat proses pemantauan (monitoring) terhadap setiap karyawan yang memegang BSC menjadi sulit, nilai BSC yang tidak akurat, dan penggunaan waktu yang cukup lama untuk membuat laporan akhir BSC. Oleh karena itu, sistem ini dibangun untuk membantu kegiatan BSC di MPPA agar menjadi lebih mudah, cepat, dan akurat. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan pendekatan prototyping. Pengembangan dimulai dengan melakukan analisis sistem saat ini dan sistem yang diusulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen yang kemudian divisualisasikan dengan menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML) 2.0. Langkah selanjutnya adalah melakukan perancangan lapisan manajemen data dan lapisan antarmuka yang disesuaikan dengan requirements calon pengguna. Setelah itu, pengembangan sistem dilanjutkan ke tahap implementasi untuk diuji dengan menggunakan blackbox testing. Hasil akhir dari pengembangan sistem ini adalah sebuah aplikasi BSC berbasis web yang memiliki fitur-fitur penting untuk membantu kegiatan BSC di MPPA, yaitu fitur dashboard untuk memudahkan monitoring, fitur pengunduhan untuk mempercepat pembuatan laporan akhir BSC, fitur kolom yang dinonaktifkan untuk menghindari kesalahan angka yang dimasukkan ke dalam BSC, dan fitur history pengelolaan data untuk dapat melihat setiap perubahan data yang dilakukan oleh pemegang BSC. / The development of Balanced Scorecard (BSC) application, which is presented in this final project, is intended to assist the implementation of the BSC in PT. Matahari Putra Prima Tbk. (MPPA). The manual BSC system makes the process of monitoring each employee who holds a BSC becomes difficult, inaccuracy in BSC scores, and takes quite a long time to make the BSC final report. Therefore, this system is built to help the BSC activities in MPPA become easier, faster, and more accurate. This system is developed by using System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with prototyping approach. Development begins by analyzing the current system and the proposed system through interview, observation, and document analysis which is then visualized using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) 2.0. The next step is designing the data management layer and the interface layer that is adapted with future user’s requirements. After that, the system development is continued into the implementation phase to be tested by using black-box testing. The end result of this system development is a web-based BSC application that contains essential features to assist the BSC activities in MPPA, such as dashboard feature for easy monitoring, download feature to accelerate the creation of BSC final report, disabled column feature to avoid wrong number inserted into the BSC, and history data management feature to be able to see any data changes made by the holder of BSC.
